Open Settings → Payments, fill in the Payout account form and tap Submit for verification. Customer payments are only taken online once your account is verified. They go straight to your own bank account, and H4B does not hold your money.
Steps#
- Open Settings and tap the Payments tab.
- Under Payment gateway, keep H4B Payments selected.
- In Payout account, choose your Business type: Individual, Proprietorship, Partnership, Private Limited or LLP.
- Enter the Account holder name exactly as on your bank account.
- Enter the Bank name, Account number and IFSC code.
- Enter your PAN number.
- Tap Submit for verification.
What the statuses mean#
| You see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Under review | Your details are being checked. The app says this usually takes 1–2 business days and switches online payments on automatically. Tap Check again to refresh. |
| More information needed | The payment provider needs something fixed. The list on screen says what. Correct your details and submit again. |
| Application rejected | Re-check your bank and PAN details and submit again. |
| You're all set! | Your account is verified and you can receive payouts. |
What customers see until you are verified#
- Online payment is switched off for your shop.
- For physical products, customers can still order with cash on delivery.
- For other products, the storefront tells them the order cannot be placed and asks them to contact you.
You see a banner, "Add your bank account to receive your payouts", on the dashboard and Payouts page until verification is done.
Good to know#
- The form says a small verification deposit may be sent to your bank account to confirm the details.
- On the Scale plan you can choose My own payment gateway instead. Then you add your own keys, and the Payouts page does not apply.
- Fees: see Platform fee and GST explained.
